I would think twice before converting anything to an EXE if it can be handled otherwise. An exe file is the ideal candidate to carry a virus payload. The software PDF2EXE may not attach a virus, but other malicious tools can. Today, every device that can handle exe files can also handle acrobat. I would highly recommend foxit reader. Its a light weight freeware option to acrobat. You could also look at portable apps as they dont' need any installation. There is a portable app for pdf files. You can find it at http://portableapps.com/apps/office/sumatra_pdf_portable
